So Jeff was at home with Margaret and the twins, Harvey and Harrison (I wonder if Harry’s middle name is Ford?). So whatever shall we do? Enter a young friend of Tim’s, Brandon. Way to step it up, Brandon! You did an awesome job filling in for some big shoes! You can’t imagine how difficult it is to insert a new drummer who has barely played our songs once. But he really came through for us, and it was a splendid event. Once again God came through for us! Did I say before that He is sooo awesome?! Another highlight for me was meeting the other band playing that night, Josiah’s Creed. What a great group of Christians, truly nice people! I feel very privileged to have met them, prayed with them, played for them, and listened to them. If I’m really lucky, our paths will cross again in the future. Oh! Did I tell you that I fixed my sound issues with my amp?! I was sooo excited! I’m not sure if everyone else was – I was pretty loud! It rocked! And I don’t know about everyone else, but my ears were ringing a bit the next morning. I know God was there as we worshipped, and I’m sure He blessed the event as well. So keep your eyes peeled for future events! We are super psyched to be playing again regularly and look forward to seeing you soon! Peace!

Hey everybody. Just wanted to write a quick couple of words before I crashed from tonights gig. Wow! Again God totally takes over and takes a potentially terrible set and creates something incredible. Unfortunately it’s always so easy to focus on how circumstances could be better and so difficult to just let it go and leave it in God’s hands. It’s all a matter of faith. Taking a drummer whom we had never even heard play and leading worship for a audience that we were definitely not used to was, as Chris said, “out of our comfort zone.” Despite ourselves and our situation, I believe God really used us as well as the other band to lead his people into a time of worship and praise. Right on! I want to thank God for his use of Dave and his off the wall energy to pump the rest of us up in the band and for the fun we were able to have rocking out in Jesus’ name. In addition, I feel blessed by being able to stay and participate in the worship experience from the crowd afterwards. The other band were tremendously tightly nit together in their playing and chose some powerful songs in their set. But one last thing. A big shout out to Brandon, our star player of the day. Thanks once more for filling in on the fly and taking on that load of stress. Great job Brandon!

First, I’ve got to tell you how impressed with the Unite team. They put on such a great event, great atmosphere, great drama, great speaker, and of course great music! We’ll a couple days before this event, we found out that our drummer, Jeff (awesome, by the way), anyways, we found out that his twins would most likely be on the way for Friday! Oh no! Thankfully for Unite, they held off until the following Wednesday. Jeff made it and it was great. Chris was still sick though. I personally was a little grumped because of some sound problems I was having with my amp (arrrrgh!), and I was right in the middle of a ridiculous schedule at work (10 days straight, 99.5 hours, a class presentation, and lots and lots of miles). But I made the best of it and it turned out great. Everyone in attendance was united in worship. It is sooo cool to feel the energy that is inherent to these events. And yes it was fun to see that Youtube video too! We’ve only gotten a couple of pictures so far, if we get more we’ll post them. AND definitely keep checking www.unitethebody.org for the next Unite. Definitely go, even if Ignition isn’t playing. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

It’s tough to say this because every event has memories of its own, but I think I can say this is my favorite event we’ve ever done. The reality to me, is that events like Unite are why we exist. Our goal is to lead a life changing, authentic worship experience for teens across the state. We thank all of the people involved with this event because they do a great job setting the stage.

Dave found a youtube video taken from somebody’s cell phone at the event. Not the best quality but you can get the picture of what the energy in the room was like. For those of you that attended, keep fighting the battle because we truly are in a spiritual war. Check out the website @ www.unitethebody.org.
